Still an AI BI platform, not only a Power BI tool
The same solution design also produces Tableau and Qlik blueprints. That keeps the door open to other stacks later. Power BI is a major ecosystem here; it is not the only one the product is allowed to mean.

- You can design in BiDesignLab without opening Desktop. You need Power BI Desktop (and whatever license your org uses) when you open the project and connect data.
- Is the output a .pbix or a project?
- The package is built as a Power BI project (.pbip) plus documentation and measure lists, ready to open in Desktop.
